We are learning...

Reading and Language Arts: We read some books about eggs this week: Chickens Aren't the Only Ones by Ruth Heller (linked below) and Guess What is Growing Inside This Egg by Mia Posada (see the link below for Tumblebooks- User Name is kedrone- Password is books.) During our small group reading time, our focus was on identifying the main idea.

Math: We are learning about measurement. We continued our study with using non-standard units to measure. And of course, we had to use something we could eat- marshmallows! Check out this measurement song on the link below!

Science/Social Studies: Did your student come home singing about eggs? We learned about oviparous animals this week. Ask your student to name some oviparous creatures and then watch the video below together!
