This Is How We Lakeview
September 2022 Edition: Volume 2
North/Central game reminders
Dear Pickerington Schools students, parents, and fans,
We are asking that every student, parent, and fan attending this evening's game take personal responsibility for a safe and positive football experience that reflects the best of Pickerington Schools.
Some quick reminders to ensure a fantastic and safe Football Friday:
Panther fans must use the visitor gate and are to remain on the visitor side of the stadium. Concessions will be available on the visitor side. Portable restrooms have been provided for your use. Panther fans needing mobility accommodations may use the ADA-compliant home gate.
Bookbags and large purses are not allowed in Tiger Stadium
There is no re-entry to Tiger Stadium. Once you leave the stadium, you must leave the premises.
Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in Tiger Stadium without parent or guardian supervision.
Fans are not permitted to rush the field.
Adult Panther and Tiger fans are expected to be positive role models for our younger fans! You are expected and encouraged to display good sportsmanship.
Violation of these rules will result in consequences including, but not limited to seat relocation, loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the facility without ticket refund, and/or arrest.
Students are expected to adhere to the Pickerington Schools Student Code of Conduct at all times. Students who violate our code of conduct risk significant consequences. (see behavior matrix at the end of the newsletter)
We have so much to be proud of with our schools. So let's remind our community that we are Pickerington Proud and let's bring our best to this Pickerington Football Friday!

Panorama Survey starts September 26th
We know there is more to our students than just their grades. We want to support our students Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) so they can develop the skills they need to be successful in life. Our Panorama survey helps us understand the needs of our students so we can create an environment that is going to help them succeed. Please see additional information about the Panorama Survey in the PDFs attached here.

Please log into MyPaymentsPlus or send cash or checks with your student(s).
Meal applications are available for free and reduced benefits at http://frapps. horizonsolana.com/PICL01.

Recent Updates
At our past two PBIS: Social Justice sub-group meetings, we have been discussing our family outreach for this school year. Please be on the lookout in the near future for a Lakeview Families Survey so we can better our outreach efforts and our partnerships with our families.
Soon, some of our staff members will be starting a book study of Christopher Emdin’s recent book, Ratchetdemic: Reimagining Academic Success. We hope to post some takeaways and/or reflection questions in the weekly Community Corner, so if you want to read along with us, please do!
Earlier today, students began signing up for September’s Club Day, which will be on Friday, September 30th. Students will be choosing one club session to attend from a variety of options, including baking/cooking, astronomy, clothing/fashion, photography, sign language, etc. If your child has not signed up through the Google Form (shared with them in their PAW Time class), please encourage them to do so ASAP!
