Principal's Message

Fernwood Avenue Middle School will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 25-29, 2021, with a number of daily activities and themes designed to unify students and staff in demonstrating their support and commitment to decreasing violence and drug use in the community.

Locktober Activites

Students in Mrs. Wenzel's 6th Grade classes are having fun problem solving with BreakoutEDU's "Locktober" activities, especially unlocking the Locks of the Day! The first ones to "breakout" get a certificate and a sweet treat!

Murder Mystery

Mrs. Mosetti's Algebra class had some spooky fun and participated in a Murder Mystery. Students had to write and solve multi-step equations to narrow down the suspects. Math really IS scary!

Mr. Medica's 6th Grade classes worked hard on a Document Based Questionnaire focused on learning and understanding the lifestyles of Early Humans last week! Here are some of the best-of-the-best!

Atlantic Prevention Resources

Atlantic Prevention Resources will be holding group meetings through the month of November as part of their "Achieving Personal Balance" program. Participants will increase skills that will help provide a healthy balance in their lives. Virtual meetings will begin Monday, September 27th.
