VIRTUAL MEET THE TEACHER
On Monday and Tuesday, August 10th and 11th, students and parents will have the opportunity to say hello and meet their teacher virtually. Teachers will be sending you information on how to join in this virtual meeting in the next few days. This virtual meeting will be a quick few minutes for the students and parents to meet and say hello to their teacher. We realize that some of you would like to ask questions and visit with your child's teacher for more specifics. Please send an email to the teacher to set up a date and time. The teachers are so excited to meet you!
MEET THE GRADE LEVEL TEAM VIDEO
On Tuesday, August 11th, you will also receive information on how to view a prerecorded video from your child's entire grade level team. This will help you and your child get to know the entire team.
DAVID ELEMENTARY 20 -21 SCHOOL YEAR FORM
On Tuesday, August 4th, you should have received an email with a link to the David Elementary 20-21 School Year form. We have only had 75% of our families complete this form. We need all families to complete this form, if you have not already done so. We understand that some of you are still unsure about what the remainder of the year will look like. Please just choose the best option as to what you are thinking right now. Please know that the option you choose on this form does not commit you to stay on this platform. TECHNOLOGY DEVICE PICK-UP INFORMATION
On Monday, August 10th, we will have two drive-thru pick up times - 8:30 am - 9:30 am or 3:00 - 4:00 pm. If you are unable to come during one of these times, please email us at contactdavid@conroeisd.net and we will schedule a time for you to come by.
This pick up will be a drive-thru event in which you will drive through our car rider line and a staff member will bring the device out to you. Please have a sign in your windshield with your child's name and grade level on it and remain in your vehicle.
ONLINE CURRICULUM ACCESS VIDEOS ARE COMING SOON
In the next few days, the district will send families the links to videos on how to login to Canvas, the learning management system for students in grades 3-12, or Seesaw, the learning management system for grades PreK-2. Students and course information are currently being uploaded into the systems.
CAMPUS CURBSIDE MEAL PICK-UP
Beginning Thursday, August 13, curbside meals will no longer be free for all students. Breakfast and lunch meals will be available curbside for students to purchase or free to students who qualify.
- Families are asked to pick up/purchase meals for all of their children at the campus of their oldest child.
- Meals will be available curbside at all campuses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM – 12 PM.
- Multiple meals will be distributed at a time.
- Tuesday: 2 breakfast meals/2 lunch meals
- Thursday: 3 breakfast meals/3 lunch meals
- A student meal card must be presented to scan and identify the student when meals are picked up.
- This card is located in Parent Access and can be printed on paper or presented electronically on a phone.
- Any change from a cash transaction will be applied to the student’s meal account.
- Pre-payments can be made at www.myschoolbucks.com.
- Meal prices and the free and reduced meal application are available on the Child Nutrition website.
