Civil War Music Program

Join the Civil War Round Table and Central Congregational Church for a program of Civil War era music performed by Gail Masinda on the Triumvirate organ. During her program, Gail will talk about the history of Central Congregational, Old First Church, Beecher Chapel, and Knox. A freewill offering may be made to the preservation of the church.

There will be two forums for each candidate open to faculty, staff and students so as to best work with schedules. The candidates will make a brief opening statement and the remainder of the time will be reserved for your questions. After the session you will be asked to fill out an online survey. This forum is dedicated to learning about the experience of Dr. Jim Hoppe, Dean of Students, from Macalester College, in St. Paul, MN.

Farmland Documentary

The Knox County Farm Bureau is hosting a free screening of the documentary Farmland, from Academy Award winning director, James Moll on Sunday. Doors open at 2:00 p.m, with the film beginning promptly at 3:00 p.m. Farmland allows the audience to step inside the world of farming by following the lives of six young farmers and ranchers. In order to insure all questions are answered, immediately following the film we will have a panel of local family-farmers address audience questions.
Table Tennis Tournament
The Office of International Student Services will host a singles and doubles table tennis tournament in December. Both tournaments will be double elimination. Tournament dates and registration deadlines are:
Singles Tournament
Registration deadline: November 29th
Play dates: December 1st and 3rd, 4:30 - 8:30pm
Doubles Tournament
Registration deadline: December 6th
Play dates: December 8th and 10th, 4:30 - 8:30pm
