Stop..Drop..Code - HOUR OF CODE
Participate in the Hour of Code (December 7-13). Join millions of student coders by encouraging your students to code during the week of December 7th.
Want your students to code, but don’t know how? Go to www.hourofcode.com to find out how your students can code. The website offers self-guided tutorials, which allow students to work at their own pace and skill-level. Another website that offers information about student coding is https://code.org/educate.
What is coding?
“Coding is what makes it possible for us to create computer software, apps and websites. Your browser, your OS, the apps on your phone, Facebook, and this website – they’re all made with code.”
I’m trying a different approach providing support for my six schools. Do you need help on integrating technology in your classroom or school and can’t wait until I visit your school again? Schedule an online appointment with me. Although I am either in training or visiting a school within the district during the week, I can be accessible online. Please click on the following link to access the calendar and schedule a 30-minute appointment with me. https://goo.gl/KKQ3jG. You should receive an email to confirm your time. If you do not, please email me: email@example.com.
