News from the Nurse
Now is the time to think about "Flu Season". Flu vaccinations should be given beginning late September to early October to give your body's immune system time to respond and build antibodies against the flu.
Contact your child's health care provider and set up an appointment to get your FLU shot!

Fifth and sixth graders who enjoy learning about people, places and events of the past are invited to join the history club. We will meet on Thursdays from 3:30-4:45. The first meeting will be September 26 and our first session will run September to December.
The club will consist of 2 parts: Programs and Projects. For programs, we will have guests come in to talk to us or lead us in an activity. For projects, students will explore topics of their choice. Sign ups open Friday, September 13th at 3:30 using this link
Space is limited. But, if you don't make it into this session, we will have another session later in the school year. Any questions please email history club advisor, Mrs. Schorpp firstname.lastname@example.org

Race for Education
School has started and so has our journey toward the Race for Education! The fundraiser benefits every student and staff member at Titus by providing funds for field trips, for free books at the fall and spring book fair, and by sponsoring the family fun events held at Titus such as the Harvest Breakfast and Bingo Night.
As we prepare for Race Day on November 1st, Home and School needs your help! Please volunteer to help with copying labels for Race by viewing our sign-up. Thank you!
