Week of January 22, 2018
Kudos!!
1. Thanks to everyone for updating the bulletin boards by their classrooms!! If you have not, please take some time to showcase student work. International Night is right around the corner, and there is so much learning that can happen with International Night.
2. Kudos team for your wonderful communication (newsletters, Boosterthon emails, parent contacts) to families!
3. Technology across the building #WOW! -- Love all the FLIPGRID usage that I'm seeing! Through FLIPGRID, kids are able to share their experiences, thoughts, and practice speaking skills! Check out Mrs. Jeremiah's work with fourth graders here!
4. PANDAS -- Thanks to everyone who attended the Twitter Chat this past Thursday! Super turn out! Mrs. Petty will place jean passes in the boxes of all who participated. We will also pick a lucky winner for the up close parking spot too!
5. Our Social Worker, Saundra Gardner is amazing! Thanks, Mrs. Garndner for your hard work and going the extra mile for our kids!

Instructional Reminders:
1. Please make sure you come prepared to our weekly PLC meetings to talk about your students and their data! Every teacher has something to add. In thinking about coming back to school, ask yourself this question: "What must our students know and be able to do as a result of this unit we are about to teach? and What I will do differently for the kids who already know it?"
2. Continue to add your small group reading plans to your team's weekly plans. Please let me know if you questions or concerns.
