DUTCHFEST THANK YOU

Praise the Lord for the beautiful weather, and a big “thank you” to all who helped with this past weekend’s Dutchfest! Totals are being tabulated and we will give you a report in the near future.

HOAGIE LUNCH

Each year room parents offer a hoagie lunch to students. This year the date is Wednesday, May 27th. Please note that it needs to be preordered and it is included on the May lunch order form, and orders for that lunch are due Friday, May 22nd.

SPORTS TEAM POSTERS: We have four 24” X 36” Shalom team posters that are available on a donation basis, first come, first served. The posters are: current school year (2014-15) middle school boys soccer team; current school year (2014-15) middle school boys basketball team; last school year (spring 2014) varsity baseball team, and last school year (spring 2014) middle school girls soccer team. Art Camps

Summer Art – for ages 8 and up

Campers will be doing a variety of fun art projects using pencil, oil pastel, markers, watercolor pencil, paint, and more.

June 22-26, 9:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Costs is $65 and includes supplies.


Advanced Art – for age 10 and up

Keys to strengthen drawing skills will be presented. A variety of project choices, including drawing people,

will be available to complete.

June 22-26, 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Cost is $65 and includes supplies.


About the Artist - Lisa has a degree in Art from Pensacola Christian College. She worked for a publisher, taught art at an area Christian school, and has given art lessons in her home. ANNOUNCEMENTS:


Fundraiser for NEPAL EARTHQUAKE RELIEF: Monday & Tuesday, May 11th & 12th, Fuddruckers in Chambersburg will give 20% of your bill to help with aiding the Nepalese people recover after a recent devastating earthquake... Fuddrucker's is open 11:00 am - 9:00 pm and the fundraiser is active all day for both days! Just mention "NEPAL".


Free Worship Leading Workshop – Saturday, May 16th, from 9-4 at Tri-State Fellowship, 13153 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, MD. The workshop will be led by husband/wife worship leaders Richie & Dana Fike. (They are the writers of the Newboys’ song, We Believe.) Free lunch will be provided. Workshop participants will write a worship song that will be shared at a Community Wide Worship Night on Sunday, May 17th (see below).


Community Worship Night –Tri-State Fellowship invites you to join them for a night of community worship with Richie and Dana Fike, Sunday, May 17th,6:00 PM.

Under our Skin 2 Emergence is a Lyme Disease information and awareness program that will take place Monday, May 18th, at 6:00 PM, at Chambersburg Area Middle School North (Faust), 1957 Scotland Ave, Chamberburg, PA. May is Lyme Disease awareness month.


Students ages 11-14 are invited to participate in Dream Weekend on July 11 and 12, 2015 at the Marion Volunteer Fire Company. This exciting, free weekend will include engaging training in fire and EMS services and promote team work and leadership opportunities for those participating.
