  • THE WICHITAS LIVED IN THE NORTH PART OF TEXAS WHICH IS IN THE GREAT PLAINS AND THE NORTH CENTRAL PLAINS.
  • THEY ATE VEGGIES AND FRUIT. THEY LIVED BY ALOT OF RIVERS BUT THEY DIDNT EAT FISH. THEY GREW MOST OF THERE FOOD. THEY HUNTED ANIMALS AND ATE THEM RAW.
  • THEY LIVED IN GRASS HOUSES WITH DRIED CEDAR POLES.
  • THEY MADE THERE OWN BOW AND ARROW AND SPEARS AND HUNTED BISON AND BUFFALO.
  • SHAMANS CONTROLLED THE RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES .THEY BELIEVED IN NATURAL FORCES AROUND THEM.
  • THE WICHITA INDIANS MOVED SOUTH FROM KANSAS TO THE RED RIVER AND ESTABLISHING A LARGE VILLAGE,THROUGH PETERSBURG,OKLAHOMA.
