Banta Principal's Update
September 16, 2020
Dear Families,
COVID has tested each of us and will continue to do so. At times, it is hard to focus on the positives when most of what we hear is focused on what is not going well in
our world. Through it all, we must continue to come together as a school community and
focus on the good. I see so much good in our school every single day. The laughter,
smiles, energy, and excitement are constant reminders that we must keep doing our part for
our kids and for our community.
However, we do recognize that the return to school can be a stressful time. I’ve even seen it with my own children, even though they are excited to be back in school. We are here to support your child’s social and emotional needs, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or our counselor, Ms. Crawmer, if they need support in any way.
Again, Thank you for all your support!
Sincerely,
Liz LaNou

Pick up and Drop off update
To help with traffic flow and avoid the heavy traffic flow and congestion on 6th street, we are asking parents to come down Walbrun from the north to pick up their students.
Please also note there is now a "right turn only" sign as you pull out of the parking lot to help ease the traffic on Walbrun street.
