Howdy Mavericks, it's been another quick week!
Here's what we were up to last week:

- Tutorials on Mondays and Tuesdays (not HB4545 tutoring) 4:30pm-4:55pm, Please email or send a letter confirming that your student will attend.
- Your student may reassess any test if he or she earned a grade less than 75%.

Skyward Grades and Schoology Assignments FAQ's
- Skyward houses the official grade book and student attendance.
- Review your student's Schoology page and Interactive Notebook to monitor lessons and daily assignments.
- Check out the Skyward graded assignment in Schoology to view graded assignments. However, your student may have turned in a hard copy of the work in class.
- Don't be alarmed if your student's Schoology assignments show not completed, most assignments are not submitted through Schoology.
Weighted Grades:
Major Grades: Test/Projects – 50%
Daily Grades: Quizzes/Notebook/Classwork – 50%
Late Work: may be submitted up to 5 calendar days with a maximum of 15 points deducted as a penalty.
Make up Work: one day for each day of the excused absence will be provided for the make-up work. If a test was scheduled before the student was absent, then the student may be required to take the test the day he/she returns.
