Counselor Connection
Woodside K-8 * June 2021
Hello Summer!
Hello Cougars!
You did it! You made it to the end of the year. This year was challenging as we navigated through a distance learning model to a hybrid model. Some of you were new to our campus and we got to meet you for the first time in March. Others have been here since kindergarten, and are preparing to transition to high school in the fall. Wherever you are, we are so proud of how hard you all worked. This summer should be a time to recharge and focus on some personal goals, whether that be to read more books, go on hikes, or learn something new!
I have enjoyed working here and getting to know you through classroom visits, recess activities, or individual or small group counseling. Sadly, I will be transitioning to a new school next year. You have made such a difference to me and I will miss you all!
Congratulations to our 8th graders for promoting to high school! You will do great things.
