Carnival
Lakeside's Carnival and Silent Auction is coming soon. Here are a few links to help you get ready.
Carnival tickets are available for pre-sale at a deep discount until midnight on Feb 4. The pre-sale price is 20 tickets for $10. If you wait, the price at the carnival goes up to $20 for 25 tickets or $1 per ticket for ticket quantities fewer than 25.
This year the new, bigger and better than ever Silent Auction is COMPLETELY ONLINE. This includes Teacher Outings, Parking Spaces, Teacher for the Half Day and ALL other products and services. The auction will be active from Jan 27 - Feb 7, 2020. Get a sneak peek at the Silent Auction.
Finally, we need parent volunteers to make the event possible. If you're available to help for one or more shifts, sign up on the Adult Volunteer SignUpGenius. There are activities that legally require adult supervision, so we could really use your help. Please complete a CISD background check if you have not already done so.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Please consider volunteering for our upcoming carnival. We have spots for adults in the link below. We will have a sign up for high school and older students that will be shared in January.

News you can use...
CISD Values and what they mean to you.
Coppell ISD stakeholders have established a set of values that guide our direction and support our daily design. Those values are:
- We value collective engagement that positively impacts the lives of our children and our world.
- We value great teaching because we believe it is key to deep learning.
- We value each individual's contribution because success can be different for everyone.
- We value authentic relationships when we invest in each other we learn and flourish.
Over the coming weeks our learners will be asked to reflect on these statements and to share what they think this value looks like each day. If you happen to come for lunch one day you might see the values posted in the cafeteria with student reflections. You are invited to share your thoughts on the white board as well.
Dismissal Changes (Reminder)
I would just like to take a moment to remind you that dismissal changes need to be provided to your child's teacher before 10am on the day that dismissal will change. Educators do not access their email all day and dismissal changes that are made after midday may be inadvertently missed. Thank you for your help with this safety matter.
CISD CALENDAR
Here is a link to the newly approved school year calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.
Visitor Procedures (Reminder)
Please be sure you are aware of our district/campus visitor guidelines if you are planning to join us for any event at Lakeside.
- We always prefer that you pre-register for busy events so that we can facilitate an efficient (and safe) check-in.
- Please bring your official id (license, passport) when you come to Lakeside.
- Background checks are necessary for any visitor that plans to work with children.
- Room parents plus one (pre-registered) helper (maximum) will be allowed to go to the room in order to set up for the party. Additional party attendees will not be released to the rooms until party time.
- Exercising patience in our parking lots, car loops, and hallways always makes for a more pleasant visit.
Thank you for your cooperation and attention to these matters.
