Meet our newest Buck - Brandi! Brandi was recently introduced to the student body and faculty in a special assembly. BHS sophomore, Michael Lenio, found out last year he qualified for a service dog through Service Dogs in Alabama, and was recently matched with Brandi, a Lab / Italian Greyhound mix. Brandi attends class each day with Michael!

Lady Bucks had a clean sweep over Lawrence County. The Varsity won 5-1 and JV won 7-6. #BuckPride

Lady Bucks varsity won big over Huntsville in Class 7A Area play, 9-3, and JV suffered a tough loss, 2-5.

ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
The 2015-2016 Athlete of the Year campaign, powered by Huntsville Hospital Sports Center, TOC Sports and D1 Sports is underway. They are looking for high school senior student athletes who excel on the field, in the classroom and in our community.
From September to April, a panel of judges selects one Athlete of the Week. Applicants must be a high school senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and display a history of athletic and academic accomplishments, as well as community/civic involvement.
All weekly winners are invited to a banquet held in their honor in May, and two students are selected as Athletes of the Year. The two Athletes of the Year each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
To nominate the next Athlete of the Year, you can either:

SPRING BABE RUTH BASEBALL REGISTRATION
Walk-in registration for the 2016 Spring Babe Ruth season for boys ages 13-18 will be held on April 2 and April 9, from 12 noon to 3 pm at John Hunt Park. (Upstairs in the press box of the club house.)
Individual (recreational) players or travel ball (competitive) teams are welcome. The cost is $100 per player for individuals registering for recreational play. Travel ball or competitive organized teams may register for $1300 per team. No registrations will be accepted after the coaches meeting.
Other options for registering ... parents & coaches may go to the website (links included below) and fill out the registration form and concussion form, scan both, and e-mail it to league officials. (Contact info below.)
Please keep in mind. We will also need coaches. The league does not exist without parent volunteers! If you have questions, please ask.

2. Use these credentials when first prompted:

3. Once you have successfully logged in to this site, use your current INOW user ID and password.
If you do not already have a username and password for the iNow Parent Portal, you must come to the school and present a government issued photo ID to receive one.

It is easy to raise funds for your non-profit or school group at The Chill Factory®. They will dedicate four hours to your group to raise funds with their help. Your organization invites the public to attend, they provide the treats. Your organization will receive 20% of all yogurt sales to put towards your goal. Non-profit status is required for community groups. School groups must have permission from the school principal to fundraise.
