WHAT DOES THIS PROGRAM CONSIST OF?
This community service project works with endangered native Hawaiian plant restoration, invasive species removal, trail and remote fence building, and ungulate control. Members work under the supervision of experienced staff and will be working within the most pristine and beautiful places on these islands, from state parks to coastal areas. This is a full-time project.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? WHY SHOULD PEOPLE SERVE?
This program is very important to preserve the beautiful, important, and unique environment of Hawaii, whether it is concerning animals, plants, communities, or ecosystems and keeping them from extinction. This program often works with urgent issues such as endangered animals or plants that will greatly affect whole island upon extinction. Disaster relief is needed to support all communities on the island to preserve human resources and living conditions. The benefits of this program are priceless and are available nowhere else! Volunteers will take home outstanding experiences, responsibilities, knowledge, a variety of new skills, appreciation of the environment, the pride of helping, the appreciation of hard work, etc.
