Class Wish List
Thank you so much.
Concepts We'll Study:
Students will be working on creating SMART goals for themselves for the second semester of school. They will also learn about the features of drama and read plays this week. They'll revisit their fiction stories to see if any more revising or editing needs to happen.
Science:
We will start our next unit which is all about Earth’s forces. Students will explore labs about landslides and volcanoes to investigate what happens when there are rapid changes on Earth.
Social Studies:
During this week, we are setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals. Those letters stand for: Specific, Measurable, Action needed, Realistic and Timely. Students will work through each letter to produce a reasonable goal they want to accomplish by the end of the school year.
Math:
We will continue to explore geometry. Students will be looking closely at parallelograms, quadrilaterals, and triangles. We had a bit of fun with tangrams before the break and will use them again along with geo boards to practice the language of geometry.
