CHROME BOOKS ARE IMPORTANT!
- Students must use Google docs when typing up papers.
- Chrome books must be charged every night!
- Chromebooks are used EVERY DAY IN CLASS!
It is important to take note that Chromebooks, once issued, are an integral part of the student supply list. Failure to bring a fully charged chromebook will cause more work at home, as classwork may not be completed.

Late work-- what you need to know
"IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ, YOU DON'T HAVE THE TIME (OR THE TOOLS) TO WRITE. SIMPLE AS THAT."
Keeping a calendar. . .
It is equally important that your child keep an agenda and write down all assignments that are written on the board. This way, if anything changes from the planned agenda, the student is up to date with all requirements.
I am going out on a limb here, but a large calendar that allows space for writing in due dates is a really valuable tool in sixth and seventh grade CBG. Although many of my students are EXTREMELY organized, and many of my students motivated to do their best, procrastination can be a killer. A calendar can help both student and parent know what is coming up!
