It is my favorite time of year....when students are back in the building. I have really enjoyed getting re-connected with students who have been here a while, and I am enjoying getting connected with new students. It was a hot first few days of school, but the weather has cooled off and it is starting to feel like fall. While summer has always been my favorite season, I am finding I enjoy fall more and more each year.

One of my goals since coming to Lonedell has been getting to know our students better. This year I am adding to that goal and wanting to build better relationships with parents. We will be having our first Parent Advisory meeting followed by PTO meeting on September 11 at 6:00. We will meet in the board room and hope to see you there!

Our first day of the 2023-2024 school year was AWESOME! From our littles to our bigs, students were excited to see old friends and meet new classmates. Teachers had their classrooms decorated in our theme, DESTINATION SUCCESS and were so happy to have them full of students. The day was spent getting to know one another and learning about school procedures, schedules, and classroom guidelines.

Now the real fun gets going. We can't wait to see what kind of growth and achievements our Bobcats will make this school year.

Open House was August 15th. Students were able to tour the school and meet their teachers. Bobby the Bobcat was there to greet students and Dana's Shaved Ice treated everyone with a snow cone. Everyone enjoyed the evening and look forward to the new school year.

A BIG Bobcat Thank you to Brandy Braun for organizing and spearheading the back to school fair for Lonedell Students. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and or supported this event. There were so many parents, staff members and community members who lent a hand or made a donation to make this event a success. Your generosity makes a huge different in the lives of kids anda lasting impact on our community.
