$$$ AP Senior Incentive Program $$$
AP Senior Incentive Program
This incentive is for Seniors only who have been successful on AP tests with a score of 3 or higher in the past and who plan to take an AP test this year.
- English - a 3 or higher on an English exam in the past will qualify for an exam registration fee to be covered for an English exam this year. Tests in this category include:
- English Language and Composition
- English Literature and Composition
- Research
- Seminar
- Social Studies - a 3 or higher on a social studies exam in the past will qualify for an exam registration fee to be covered for a social studies exam this year. Test in this category include:
- World History
- US History
- Microeconomics
- Macroeconomic
- European History
- Human Geography
- US Government
- Psychology
- All other exams - a 3 or higher on all other exams in the past will qualify you for an exam registration fee to be covered for an exam in this category this year. Tests in the category include:
- Art - Drawing, 2-D or 3-D
- Science - Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science
- Computer Science - A or Principles
- World Language - Spanish, French, German, Latin
- Mathematics - Calculus AB or BC, Statistics
- Music Theory
Below are a few scenarios to better help you understand which exam fee Klein Oak might be able to cover for you this year.
- If you took the English Language test last year and scored a 3 or higher, Klein Oak will cover the exam registration fee for your English Literature test this year.
- You may qualify for more than 1 fee waiver in a category. If you scored a 3 or higher on both the World History exam and the US History exam, you qualify for 2 registration fee waivers in the Social Studies category (maybe Government and Psychology).
- Any test score of 3 or higher in the “All other exams” category qualifies for a fee waiver of another test in the category. If you scored a 3 or higher on a Computer Science exam in the past, you could use the fee waiver on a Spanish exam this year.
- Fee waiver cannot be applied outside of each category. If you scored a 3 or higher on your World History exam, that would not qualify to cover the exam fee for a Calculus test this year.
Here are the steps that you will need to follow for the exam fee waiver.
- Register for all tests that you plan to take through Total Registration by November 6, 2020. (https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/446691)
- For the tests that qualify for a fee waiver from Klein Oak, you will need to pay the $40 deposit for each test by November 6, 2020. (Klein Oak will credit your account for the remaining balance of each test that qualifies for a fee waiver.)
- Continue with your coursework, study and take the AP exam as scheduled in May.
- Once you have tested, your $40 deposit for each qualifying test will be reimbursed through Total Registration. If you do not test, the $40 deposit will be applied to the AP CollegeBoard cancelation fee.
Refund policy
- If an exam is ordered by November 6th and the remaining balance is not paid or if the exam is canceled by February 22nd, all fees will be refunded.
- If an exam is ordered between November 7th and February 22nd, a non-refundable payment of $40 per exam will apply and the total balance is due upon registration.
- After February 22nd, any unpaid balances will result in canceled exams.
- All refunds will be processed on May 21, 2021
