The Winding Road
A Soundtrack to My Life by Adam Terry
Dedications
This soundtrack is dedicated to my family and friends that have made me the person I am today. I have been fortunate enough to be raised in a great household full of family members who love me and had friends that have supported me in the more difficult decisions in my life.
"Inch by Inch" by Al Pacino (4:44)
This is more of a speech than a song, but this speech has the same impact to me just as any song would. This speech is important to me because we, as a football team, listen to this before every home game to remind us what the game we play we play is all about.
Al Pacino - Any Given Sunday - "Inch By Inch"
"Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean (3:48)
I can't even begin to count how many times me and my friends have listened to this song on warm summer nights by lake fishing. While the exact lyrics don't always apply to what we are doing, they do always put us in a good relaxing mood.
Jason Aldean - Dirt Road Anthem
"Young Forever" by JAY-Z feat. Mr. Hudson (4:13)
This song reminds me to not be so stressed about life because being young doesn't last forever and you should enjoy it while you can.

"Africa" by Toto (4:55)
This song is just too mellow and catchy to not be on this list. Even though this song is a little bit before my time, it is still one of my favorite songs when I feel like singly loudly in my car after a long day.
Toto - Africa
"Run This Town" by JAY-Z feat. Rihanna (5:23)
Quite frankly, this song absolutely pumps me up.

"Chicken Fried" by Zac Brown Band (3:57)
This song has a good, down-to-earth vibe about it and reminds me that some of the best things in life are the simple ones.

"Don't Stop Believing" by Journey (4:17)
This is one of those classic songs that everyone knows the words to and one I just can't help but sing along to.
Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (Live in Houston)
"Almost Home" by Craig Morgan (4:50)
Even though the message behind this song is incredibly sad, I have great memory of my dad and I riding home from Tennessee associated with this song.
Almost Home
"Second Chance" by Shinedown (3:43)
Similar to the last song, the meaning is not the reason why I chose this song but yet the memory that goes with It. My mom and I were riding home from my sister's dance recital and immediately fell in love with this song and still sing along whenever we hear it.

"Hey Brother" by Avicii (4:24)
This song represents the bond I share with my friends and family that I would do anything for.
Avicii - Hey Brother
"Lose Yourself" by Eminem (5:18)
What this song means to me is that even though things seem impossible at times, sometimes you just have to keep moving forward without looking back.

"What was I Thinkin'" by Dierks Bently (4:32)
I think we all have experienced the message conveyed in this song. At one time or another we have all said "What was I thinking?".
