Promote Development

You could teach them to ride a tricycle. Also, show them and teach them to push the stuff animals into the wagon. And show them how to draw with chalk onto the sidewalk. You could also teach them to hold a glass of water and to try to drink it.

My advice would be patient with your child and help them when they need it. And you have to encourage your child, to make your child feel safe, and have a safe playground to play on. Tell your child why it's safe to stay out of traffic and to look both ways before crossing the street. if you feel your child is not reaching these milestones you could enroll them into a preschool or if you have any other problems with your child please call 1-800-CDC-INFO.
