"Honorable" Brutus not so honorable!
Almost Got Away With It
At Caesar's funeral, Brutus made an emotionally and logically compelling speech about Caesar's murder and why he did it. He stated that he loved Caesar very much but claimed that Caesar was ambitious and would be the downfall of Rome. Citizens praised his acclamations and accusals but that was soon thwarted when Antony took the stage.
Enlightenment from Antony
Soon after Brutus's convincing speech, Antony came up and gave an even more cataclysmic speech. He exposed Brutus for his hypocrisy saying that Caesar was ambitious. He was also proved to be a dishonorable liar who killed Caesar for his own personal gain. The crowd up roared and are now threatening to kill and burn he ever so shortly loved Brutus.
