3 Golfers Reach Sectionals; Brewster Qualifies For State Championships

Howell was well represented at the State Sectional Golf Tournament last week as Kirk Brewster, Cole Prager, & Adam Reider took to the course for a chance to qualify for the State Championships this week. Kirk Brewster had a great outing and finished 11th on the day to advance to the State Championships. Congratulations to Kirk and good luck at the State Tournament!

Track Program Brings Home Six District Championships

It was a great day for the boys and girls track teams at Battle High School as they competed in the District meet. The Vikings brought home six district championships on the day. Below you can find a list of all track student-athletes that have now advanced to the State Sectionals at MICDS next weekend. Howell Programs Raise $37,219 & Serve 2,010 Hours In The Community

Howell activities, clubs & sports were actively involved in our community this school year. Over the course of the 2017-18 school year our Vikings served 2,010 hours & raised $37,219 for charities and causes in our community. In all over 50 organizations benefited from the efforts of our student-participants. Thank you to all that supported our efforts this season.

Howell Named 14th Best High School In Missouri; Athletics Named 4th Best In Missouri

It has been a great year for Francis Howell High School and all Vikings. Last week Howell was named the 14th best high school in the state by U.S. News & World Report. The ranking was the highest of any school in St. Charles County. Earlier in the year Howell was named the 4th best high school for athletes in Missouri by Niche. Congratulations to all Howell staff, students and parents for all of their efforts to make the 2017-18 school year a success.

61 Seniors To Further Education & Sport/Activity At College Level

It has been a historic year for the Class of 2018. This year's senior class set a new school record for students going on to further their education and activity or sport at the college level. As of today, the senior class has 49 student-athletes and 11 student-participants involved in an activity that will further their education and activity or sport at the college level. The national average for seniors moving on to participate at the college level is 7.4% and our class of 2018 is currently at 36%. Not only has this group had great success in their activities and sports but they have also excelled in the classroom where they hold a 3.51 cumulative GPA over the course of their high school career. Thank you to our students, staff and parents for their efforts in helping to make these accomplishments possible. Good luck to our Class of 2018!

Flynn & Enos Named Wrestling USA All-Americans

Congratulations to seniors Jack Flynn and Peter Enos for being named Wrestling USA All-Americans. Both Jack and Peter won State Championships this season and will wrestle at the college level next year.

Strong Tennis Season Comes To A Close

Congratulations to the boys tennis program on a great season. The Vikings finished the year 11-3. They fell just short in the team and individual district tournament last week. Thank you to our seniors for another great tennis season.

C Team Soccer Wins St. Joe's Tournament; Ends Season Undefeated

Congratulations to C Team Soccer on winning the St. Joe's Tournament with wins over Notre Dame, Nerinx Hall, and O'Fallon Township. The Lady Vikings ended the season 12-0 and outscored their opponents 76-2 over the course of their undefeated season.

JV Soccer Ends Season Undefeated

Congratulations to our JV Girls Soccer program on finishing the season and undefeated 16-0-1. During the course of their undefeated run the Lady Vikings also won the Borgia Tournament. The future of the girls soccer program looks bright. The C Team and JV team went a combined 28-0-1 for the season.

C Team Baseball Wins GAC South Tournament

C Team baseball finished up their season on a positive note as they brought home the championship in the GAC South Tournament with an 8-4 win over FZW. The Vikings had a great year finishing 10-3 on the season. Congratulations to these Vikings on a great season!

Choir Finishes A Great Year With Spring Concert

Thank you to Mrs. Fitzpatrick and the Howell Choirs for another great year of music! The choir finished up their year last week with their final spring concert. This year's talented group of singers took part in several concerts, were involved in the spring musical and also represented Howell as they performed in Chicago. Thank you seniors for a great four years!

Girls Basketball Program Offers Free Clinics At John Weldon & Independence Elementary

The Howell Girls Basketball program has been spending time with over 100 future Vikings at both John Weldon and Independence Elementary schools. Our Lady Vikings have not only been working on basketball skills but have also worked with the girls on being leaders and displaying great character. Thank you to our girls basketball coaches and our girls players for giving back to our younger students.
