Masks remain required on our school campus

We thank you for your continued cooperation as we navigate through the Covid-19 Pandemic. This week our school office received an update from the Bishop's Office concerning the wearing of masks.

We ask that you please read carefully and be patient as we continue to work for the safety of all and try to adapt to the newer guidelines.

"After consultation with the Diocesan Restoration Council, including our Medical Advisory Team, the Diocese of Las Vegas will continue to require all of its current COVID19 safety procedures, including masks and social distancing, to remain in effect until it has had an opportunity to thoroughly review and discuss the latest CDC and Southern Nevada Health District guidelines, and Governor Sisolak’s Emergency Directive.

The safety of our staff and parishioners, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, remains our top priority and will continue to guide our decision process. We ask that you please communicate this information to your staff and parishioners as soon as possible and ask for their patience at this time.

We ask your continued cooperation as the CDC, Southern Nevada Health District, Clark County, and the State of Nevada Governor’s Office continue to update and modify their requirements."

Big picture

We imagine a future where every single person has access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. When volunteering for a Clean the World event, we help make that dream a reality and address urgent global health needs.

The Campus Ministry met this past week with an opportunity to learn about Catholic Social Teaching and Poverty USA. Through an introduction of these topics, students in grades 6 - 8 then put it into motion by making hygiene kits from Clean the World to be distributed to those in our own community who are in need.
