Year 5 Weekly Update
Friday 20th March 2015
Week 26
Well done to all the Year 5 children for their hard work and sales efforts at the International Food Fair on Friday. According to the calculations the games stall accounted for over $10,000 of revenue on the evening with people playing the games over 2,000 times which is testament to their dedication and commitment. Great job!
This week the children have been working extremely hard on their presentations and marketing plans. On Wednesday and Thursday they presented to a business panel and looked very professional in their business attire. The feedback from the different panels was extremely positive and they were given constructive criticism to help them in the next steps of their business & marketing strategies.
Next Thursday is the Student Led Conferences. Please be sure to sign up by TODAY. A reminder of the instructions for the gateway are as follows:

Next week on Tuesday 24th is MARKET DAY!!! The rest of the school are buzzing with excitement ready to buy from our fabulous variety of goods.
Unfortunately, due to the scheduling of the student customers from BHS as well as the additional 150 children from Sha Tin Junior school we are unable to accommodate any additional parents, family or friends. Due to the safety in the hall we kindly ask that you respect our decision.
The good news is that the presentation videos and video advertisements will be available at the student led conference.

In preparation for market day on Tuesday we would like the group members to communicate with each other to decide what is still left to do for their stalls. For example:
