Why taking the test is important!

The PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and SAT

Taking the PSAT/NMSQT is excellent practice for the SAT because these tests have the same format and evaluate the same skills. Together with PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9, they make up the SAT Suite of Assessments. At CHS these tests are administered in grades 9, 10 & 11 —10th graders will take the PSAT 10 this spring and then PSAT/NMSQT next fall.

Our 11th graders are preparing to take the SAT this spring. These assessments make it easy to track progress and identify areas in need of improvement and measure College and Career Readiness skills.
