Donations Needed

If you have sweatpants that your child(ren) has outgrown, we could use them at school! Milk spills at lunch, puddles at recess, etc. sometimes means a change of clothing and our sweatpants are in short supply. If you have some laying around for donation, please consider sending them to the school. All sizes needed 4T-12 (with the smaller sizes being more commonly used).

HELP! DECISIONS ARE BEING MADE FOR NEXT YEAR USING PREDICTED NUMBERS FROM K ORIENTATION AND ANNUAL REGISTRATION. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO, PLEASE COMPLETE THE K ORIENTATION SURVEY AND/OR ANNUAL REGISTRATION ASAP!

THE ANNUAL STUDENT REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO TODAY!

This process, which is separate from student course enrollment, is required for all students except current 2022 seniors. Our schools rely on this information for staffing and effective planning for next year. Annual Student Registration also enables families to indicate whether your student(s) will return to the district next year, verify your contact information, update your student's health history, consider consents for field trips and surveys, and review and acknowledge that you have received annual parent notices.


The deadline to complete the Annual Student Registration is April 1, 2022

How do I get started?

1) Create your PowerSchool parent/guardian portal account. (If you already have an account, please skip to Step 3)

2) Connect your student(s) to your account by using the student access code(s) and password(s) provided by your school. (If you misplaced or did not receive them, please contact your child's school or send an email with your children's names to itworkorder@usd497.org to request access codes and passwords.

3) Log in to your parent powerschool access account and complete 2022-2023 Annual Student Registration. Find detailed instructions here: https://tinyurl.com/v37xycu8.

Once you complete the online form for your first student, the form will pre-populate information for each subsequent student for your review and any necessary changes. Find simple instructions for completing the steps outlined below at www.usd497.org/PowerSchool.

KINDERGARTNERS FOR 22-23...BA ORIENTATION INFORMATION!

If you have a child who will be 5 years old by Aug 31, 2022, you can register for school by going to the district website.


Broken Arrow Kindergarten Orientation will be April 13th. We will be running two sessions: 2:00-2:40 and 2:50-3:30. Please complete the Kindergarten Survey if you have an incoming kinder next year or feel free to share with those you know! We only have a few families who have completed the survey. Please complete the survey if you have an incoming kindergartner.

CHANGE TO SPECIALS NIGHT DATES

Please note: We've had to change the date of our K-2 Specials Night due to a conflict with 6th Grade Parent Night at the middle school. We will be having K-2 Specials Night on May 2nd. The date for 3-5 is still April 26th!
