PCES Pirate Log
Week #2: Aug 12th - 16th
What is a Pirate Teacher?
What a great start to what is shaping up to be a school year for the history books!
I believe in you and our students believe in you. Our Pass Christian Pirate Learners know what a Pirate Teacher is. They describe Pirate Teachers (you) as someone that builds relationships with students to support learning. Pirate Teachers believe in the power of relationships according to your students. Pirate Learners also describe their Pirate Teachers as leaders that seek constructive feedback, as well as someone who communicates effectively with students, peers, parents, and our community. Pirate teachers master both the art and science of teaching.
Teach Like a Pirate is a great book if you're looking for something to read!
