From the Desk of Mr. Baginski...
Hello Parents,
We kicked off our American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge today.
Please join us in the fight against heart disease. Help your children go online at heart.org/khc or download the Kids Heart Challenge mobile app to make a pledge to be more heart healthy and earn a free wristband. Our goal is to have 100% of our students in our class take their heart healthy challenge online to move more, be kind, or be prepared! When your child takes their challenge, they will become a Heart Hero and receive a wristband!
This year, the mobile app unlocks even more fun and the Heart Hero characters and wristband come to life. As soon as your child raises $10 online, they will also receive Perrie and Knox, two of our Heart Heroes!
Our deadline to take the challenge is: February 27th.
BONUS: when 50% of our students in the entire school take a challenge, we will receive $500 in PE equipment. Can we count on you to help us out?
Thank you for your life-saving help!

In the winter and spring, buildings tend to have more family events in the evening. Documentation for each event includes: flyers/invitations, sign-ins, agendas/minutes as applicable, surveys for families. The surveys are valuable information from stakeholders to help evaluate the event/program, and support planning for the future. These items should be stored in your Title 1 or Section 31a crates in buildings.
