Strong- Betty Shabazz never remarried after her husband died and she had to take care of her six daughters alone.
Smart- Shabazz completed an undergraduate degree at Jersey City State College, followed by a doctoral degree in higher education administration at the University of Massachusetts. She then accepted a position as an associate professor of health sciences at New York’s Medgar Evers College.

Most Interesting Thing To Me
Betty Shabazz died from her grandson, Malcolm setting her apartment on fire. Her grandson went to juvenile detention. I thought this was interesting because it's kind of different and surprising.
Childhood
At the age 11 Betty started living with a business man named Lorenzo Malloy and his wife, Helen. Also, Betty Shabazz lived in Detroit, Michigan for most of her life.
