ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL WAS PRESENTED WITH THEIR 8TH LONE STAR CUP
AISD was honored to receive their 8th Lone Star Cup, 6th consecutive. This is a reflection of excellence in academics, fine arts and athletics.
AHS Principal Mr. Hill and AISD Superintendent Dr. Telena Wright shared the excitement of receiving the Lone Star Cup.
Argyle Mayor Donald Moser and Town Manager Matt Jones were in attendance at the game on Friday night to join AISD in the accepting of the Lone Star Cup.
Friday evening Argyle High School was presented

THE ARGYLE EAGLES DEFEATED ABILENE WYLIE WITH A BIG WIN !
THE AHS PEP RALLY ON FRIDAY WAS GLOWING WITH SPIRIT
AHS Held a "White Out" Abilene Wylie Pep Rally on Friday, Sept. 22nd. The gym was filled with glowing lights as the cheerleaders, drum line and Majestics dance team entertained the crowd with glow themed performances.
THE EAGLES UNITE GAME WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
AISD had over 150 students participate in the UNT EAGLES UNITE pre - game event along with attending the UNT EAGLES UNITE Game on Saturday evening. The Argyle Town Mayor, Donald Moser along with the Town Manager Matt Jones were in attendance. We will have a special Eagle Update going out this week with all of the pictures and a special video highlighting the event. A big Thank You to everyone who attended the game.
ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL'S VERY OWN MR. BLAKE DUNHAM RECEIVED THE HEART OF DALLAS BOWL RING AT THE UNT GAME ON SATURDAY
Blake Dunham a graduate from Argyle High School and now a staff member at AHS was honored on Saturday night at the UNT vs. UAB game. He received his Heart of Dallas Bowl Ring for playing in the Bowl Game during his football career with UNT. Pictured from L to R: George Dunham, Blake Dunham and UNT Athletic Director Wren Baker.
AISD ATHLETIC DIRECTOR SUPPORTS FREE HEART SCREENINGS
Thanks to the support of Coach Todd Rodgers, AISD Athletic Director and the Head Football Coach for Argyle High School along with The Alex Betzhold Memorial Fund all AISD athletes are being offered FREE heart screenings. All athletes ages 12 - 22 are being encouraged to have a heart screening. If your child is not an athlete they can still participate! If you have a college aged student at home who is not over the age of 22 they may also participate. Spaces are limited.

THE AHS DRUM LINE COMPETED IN A LOCAL DRUMLINE COMPETITION OVER THE WEEKEND
The AHS Drum Line competed over the weekend in the Plano Drumline Contest. AHS placed third behind two 6A schools. Schools from divisions 1 - 6A competed. We are proud of the Drumline and want to congratulate them on a job well done!
THE AIS CHOIR STARTS THE YEAR STRONG WITH A LARGE TALENTED GROUP
Mrs. Lamb, the AIS Choir Director has started the year with a large group of talented 3rd and 4th graders. Mrs. Lamb is also the music teacher and AIS.

THE ARGYLE COMMUNITY CARNIVAL WAS A TON OF FUN FOR EVERYONE
The AMS PTO did an amazing job coordinating and planning the Argyle Community Carnival. The weather was great, amazing food vendors were on hand and there were tons of games and activities for the kids.

keep the tradition going!
