Attention 5th Grade Parents

Dacula Elementary will host a Rising 6th Graders night on Thursday, February 4th. Dr. Long from DHS and Dr. Riggins from DMS will be providing important information to our 5th grade parents. If you have a student that is currently in 5th grade, you don't want to miss this important night!


Also, don't forget that the LAST day to order 5th grade dedications for the yearbook is February 12th! See below for more information.

Partnership Gwinnett

Who: Partnership Gwinnett, a community and economic development strategy for Gwinnett, led by the Gwinnett Chamber and a host of public and private partners, is seeking community input via an online community survey.

What: An online community survey, open to ALL those who live and/or work in Gwinnett. Click here for link to take the survey.

When: The survey will be available now through February 5, 2016.

Why Participate: This is your chance to help shape Gwinnett! Your input will be used to help plan and implement Partnership Gwinnett's 5-year strategic growth and development plan.

Counselor's Corner

Please remember: For your child's teacher to excuse an absence, you must send in a written note or e-mail explaining the sickness, doctor/dentist appointment, or other excusable absence. Otherwise, your child's absence will have to be marked unexcused. Thank you so much.

Lost and Found

Any items not picked up by Friday, February 5th will be donated. Please write your child's name in his/her jackets, lunch box, etc. If an item ends up in the Lost and Found and has a name in it, we are able to notify the child to come pick it up.
