Salt water taffy
Salt water taffy was produced in 1883, Atlantic city, New jersey. It is a soft kind of taffy. its made by sugar, corn starch, glycerin, water butter, salt, flavoring, and coloring. The creator is Joseph Frangliner. They put it in a kettle and let it cook. Once that done its left to cool on a marble slab. Then its pulled on a hook to add air in the corn syrup and sugar confection. It got the name salt water taffy when Bradley's candy store flooded and it soaked all the taffy with sea water and formed salt water taffy.
