Bus Schedules

We are experience a bus driver shortage which may impact your child's riding schedule. Your students may be picked up a bit later than normal, or return home later than normal if we have to double up the routes our drivers are taking. It is still important that your child be at their bus stop 5 minutes before the originally scheduled pick up time.

On Tuesday your Trexler Falcon baseball team traveled to Hunters Creek to play them in their 3rd match up of the season. Hunters Creek started off strong with excellent pitching and they were able to take an early lead on Trexler. However, the Falcons never gave up and battled right back with great pitching by Caleb Rowe and Adam Varner. Offensively the Falcons scored 5 runs in the first 6 innings and Hunters Creek was able to tie the game as time expired in the 6th inning. The game went into extra innings and the Falcons shut down Hunters Creek offense with great pitching. Trexler scored 3 runs in the 8th inning which enabled them to take the lead and win the ball game with a final score Trexler 8 – Hunters Creek 5. Offensively the entire team hit very well. The Falcons also had excellent defense by Nathan Bryan and Branten Fountain. The coaches are very proud of the team for not giving up and battling back and earning the victory yesterday. The Falcons next game will be away against Northwoods Park Middle school at 4 pm.

Tryouts for track started on Monday of this week. They have been practicing here at TMS and at RHS during the course of the week. Their first meet is May 9th at 4:00 PM at Brewster Middle School.

Seventh grade AVID students enjoyed the day visiting Barton College on Thursday, April 28. Students learned many things about how to get into college and about college life on campus. Haley Archacki commented, "We learned that you really have to apply yourself to get into college. You can't just show up and say I want to go here!" We also had the chance to talk with several Barton students, including two Trexler AVID Alumni, Stephen Foy and Liz Paul. If you get a chance, check out the Barton Bulldogs!
