Message from Principal Mr. Ernst
Hough Families,
Thank you to everyone for making our virtual Back to School Night such a success. Teachers loved having the opportunity to meet everyone and share information about the 2020-2021 school year. I know that I have sent quite a few communications recently. I really appreciate your patience and understanding as we try and provide you with as much information as you need about this school year. As I have stated before, communication is key to making this very unique school year a success.
New Hough Street Health Screening Process
As we continue to explore ways to get our students safely back to school, we want to ensure that we have the most efficient safety processes/procedures. Below is information about our new online health screening process that will need to be completed by all students and staff prior to entering Barrington 220 schools. Please watch the video and read this information carefully as this will become the standard operating procedure at Hough Street in the near future. While we are transitioning to this building wide process, we will still have access to our paper screening form in the event you are not ready to utilize the new screening app.

Please Note: This new process will require the use of student ID cards. Students will need to bring their IDs to and from school on days that they are in the building. These IDs were distributed at our building wide supply pickup earlier in the school year.
Finally, if you have any questions for me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will leave everyone by saying that I continue to be so proud of the work that our students, staff, and families are doing to make this start to the school year such a success.
Thank You,
Zach Ernst
