Bednarcik Bulldog Blast

Together WE Return!
Being back in-person means so many things! Lunch will be served and students will eat at school. Collaboration and discussion will take place throughout the building and in many forms! Teachers will be able to support students in person and in real-time! Opportunities for learning will be more available both in classrooms and through extra-curriculars.
With the return to in-person learning and getting back to 'normal' we are excited to have our community back together in the building. We know students have been learning in a variety of ways since we were all last together in March of 2020 and much has been out of our control. Being back together means getting back to what we know is successful for learning and development of our kids. While we will focus on content throughout all subjects, we will also focus on other learning skills important for student success. Those include: social skills, self-management skills, approaches to learning, and academic soft skills.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the PTO?
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is composed of parents, teachers, and staff working together to better our school and foster relationships throughout the school community.
What do we do?
We assist the school with providing innovative teaching resources for our kiddos. We plan fun events to bring families into the school throughout the year such as the 6th grade ice cream social and the 8th grade dance. We support our teachers and staff with appreciation events. We work with our school administrators to collaborate on school events and help to staff those events.
Who can join?
If you have a child at our school, you can.
Membership fees help to pay for all of the fun events and innovative teaching resources we assist the school with throughout the year. We also host fundraisers to help.
What if I am not able to help at the school, can I still join?
Absolutely. We ask for volunteers throughout the year but there is no minimum requirement to be a member. We’re glad to have your support in whatever form you are able.
Do I have to attend meetings to join?
No. We would love you to be there to help us plan and to provide feedback on the things we are doing, but it is not a requirement of membership.
