Anne's Family

Annelies (Anne) Marie Frank was born on June 12,1929 in Frankfurt Germany. Otto and Being born to Edith & Otto Frank, she also had a sister named Margot.

Hidding Place

Adolf Hitler came to power in 1993. Anne's family had to move They then moved to the Dutch Opekta Company in the city of Amsterdam. There they had to live with the Van Pels family. They were stuck in hidden rooms at the rear of the 17th-century canal house, known as the Secret Annex. They had problems with supplies and of room.

Anne's Diary

Anne recieved a dairy on June 12,1942 on her 13th birthday. Anne wrote in her diary her expirences and her wishes during the time of hidding. In her diary she wrote to someone named Kitty. She wrote about her feelings.

Anne Frank Captured

On August 4,1944 everyone in the Secret Annex was arrested. Someone has betrayed them. They are deported first to the Westerbork transit camp, and then on to Auschwitz. Otto Frank is the only person from the Secret Annex to survive camps. Miep Goes found Anne's dairy and returned it to Otto Frank. Her book was realeased on March 18,1959
