Good Afternoon Chinooks!

We hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day on Monday! The building was full of students celebrating friendship and showing kindness. It was a great way to start the week and we're still feeling the love.

One School, One Book starts this week on Thursday, February 24th. Each night at 6pm we will post a different staff member reading through The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane on our Facebook page. We hope you enjoy this opportunity to listen with your child and participate in this school wide event.

2.22.2022 is this Tuesday! To celebrate this unusual day, we are dressing in Tutus, Ties, Tierras, T-shirts, tennis shoes, and anything that starts with T. We're looking forward to this once in everyone's lifetime day!

Our food drive wrapped up today with over 405 cans of food donated! The spirit day with the most votes was PJ day. Join us in wearing our PJ's to school on Friday, February 25th.

As a reminder, we ask that you celebrate birthdays with your family and friends outside of school hours. With a diverse population of students, in many different financial situations, we will be making sure everyone feels celebrated on their birthday by announcing their name and making sure they get a birthday pencil. Keeping birthday celebrations at at home also allows us to keep our learning time focused on learning.

We hope you have a wonderful 3 day weekend and we'll see you back on Tuesday, February 18th.
