Dr. Looney's Message

Happy Friday!

We are in the home stretch, getting ready for Spring Break. We have 10 days 'til Spring Break. That's 10 days to focus on teaching and learning. Ten days to make sure we are headed into testing season prepared to be successful.

Did you know that we have parent's class in the evening for parents to learn English? Mrs. Carlson and her (adult) students are doing a phenomenal job. There will be another class starting next semester and we would love for you to be a part of it.

Our band is performing their LGPE tomorrow. We cannot wait to hear how well they do. They've worked very hard with Mr. Rodriguez. We have the best middle school band in the county.

Don't forget that the boys and girls soccer teams are participating in a tournament this weekend.

Have an awesome weekend. Reach out if you need anything.

Student EES Survey Information

Parent EES Survey Open

Each year, GCPS asks our families about their child’s school as part of our commitment to improvement. This year, the school district is partnering with the Center for Educational Effectiveness to ask questions that provide feedback on nine characteristics of high-performing schools. In addition, the survey asks about two other areas associated with high-performing schools—district support for improvement and respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds.

The Parent/Family survey opened on Monday and will remain open through April 2. Please use the link or QR code found below to share your feedback. Make sure to select your preferred language on the first page (English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese).
