Just a reminder to move your clocks back one hour on Saturday night as we begin Daylight Saving time.

Reading Month Updates

We are in the second week of our reading challenge and have reached a total of 29,855 minutes logged in our first two weeks!!! The students are well on their way of meeting the challenge of 100,000 minutes by the end of the month! They are all excited to get to turn faculty into human ice cream sundaes if they meet their goals!!

Spring Break - March 12-16

Our Spring Break is scheduled for March 12-16. We are open normal hours all week; however, there are no instructional classes scheduled that week. Any elementary students that plan to attend should have signed up already. Please see the schedule below for field trips and other Spring Break activities.


**Please be reminded that students must wear spirit shirts for field trips. Neither Merryhill polos nor Field Day shirts are able to be worn on field trips.**

  • April 6 - Preschool Nursery Rhyme Parade 9:30 a.m.
  • April 11-13: 4th and 5th Grade class trip to Austin and San Antonio
  • April 13: Family Movie Night 7:00 p.m.
  • April 24: "Pirates: The Musical!" performed by 1st-6th Grades at the Bob Duncan Community Center 7:00 p.m.
  • May 3: Art Show 7:00 p.m.
  • May 4: Pre-Kindergarten Picnic
  • May 4: Aloha Dance - 2nd Grade and older - 7:00 p.m.
  • May 8-11: 6th Grade class trip to Washington D.C.
  • May 11: Mother's Day Breakfast
  • May 25: Elementary Field Day
  • May 29: Sixth Grade Graduation 1:00 p.m.
  • May 29: Kindergarten Graduation 7:00 p.m.
  • May 31: Last day of school
  • June 1: Elementary and after school program and building closed
