What is meant by a flipped classroom?
Different models exist but at the core is the removal of teacher directed presentations to the web consequently freeing up the classroom to become a centre of student activity, collaboration and deeper exploration.
In this practical, hands on, full day PL teachers will;
- Explore a range effective software tools to develop course materials including podcasts, screencasts, vodcasts etc
- Create online content for their students
- Compare the various web solutions for hosting content
- Gain ideas on how to turn your now extra classroom time into vibrant and collaborative student centered 21st century sessions.
Participants will leave the session with ideas and skills that can be applied the next day in the classroom.
