Google Teachers of the Year Visit Kennedy
Kennedy, along with John Gill, was selected to host some of the Google Teachers of the Year last Friday. Google flew out the “best” teacher from each state to the Bay Area for training and to visit classrooms to see innovative technology and teaching, along with how equity is addressed. It was exciting that Kennedy was one of the featured schools that RCSD chose to showcase.

Kennedy Hall of Fame
Come see our new inductees to the Hall of Fame, meet Hall of Fame members, and see some of the exciting things our kids are doing at Kennedy. The Hall of Fame is a great way to honor Kennedy alumni who are inspirational role models for our Kennedy students!
Get to know one of our Hall of Fame members:
This Hall of Fame member has something in common with Cam Newton, Marcus Mariota, Tim Tebow, Bo Jackson and O.J. Simpson... they are all winners of the Heisman Trophy! In 1967, as UCLA quarterback, Gary Beban won the Heisman Trophy, given to the nation’s best college football player. Mr. Beban played in the NFL and then went on to a successful career in commercial real estate where he became the President of CB Richard Ellis, a global leader in commercial real estate services. See Mr. Beban’s Heisman Trophy in the Hall of Fame in the Kennedy Gymnasium, which is named after Mr. Beban!
