A MESSAGE TO FAMILIES FROM NETWORK PHOTOGRAPHY
Dear Parents-
Some important updates for you and how to order School Pictures this year. You will receive through your school:
We use an all-in-one school picture pdf
This pdf includes your school's online pre-pay link, a printable pdf order form, and the
date and time of your initial photo shoot dates
The #1 goal of Network Photography this year was to NOT raise prices, especially when it seems everyone else in the world is, and the cost of life and doing business keeps going up.
We found ways to do this, and best part is it improved the photo experience and made our photo days more streamlined and efficient!!
How? Online Ordering through our PrePay Store
You can order online before photo day, utilizing the all-in-one school picture pdf emailed to you. For August registration shoots, you can scan the big QR Code we have on a large banner at the school which takes you directly to the PrePay portal right on your phone.
You can order online later using the private password you’ll receive after pictures are delivered, late orders are shipped directly to your home and a shipping charge is added.
This new streamlined process also means NO MORE SIGN IN TABLE!
Students can go directly to the first available camera and be photographed by simply providing their name whether they are ordering pictures or not.
DISCONTINUING RE-OPENING THE ONLINE LINK BEFORE RE-TAKE DAY ON OCT 4. We are asking that parents place a pre-paid order for photos on or before the initial photo shoot dates regardless of when their student is photographed in the school year. We will not be re-opening the pre-paid online link before retake dates. Pre-paid orders are guaranteed to be sent to the school without a shipping charge. The all-in-one pdf will show the deadline parents have to place their orders and get free shipping to the school. Any orders mailed, called in or turned in to our office after the initial photo shoot date are subject to a shipping/handling charge and will be mailed directly to the home.
Because all the orders are being placed online, there is no need to process any kind of paperwork onsite, which eliminates the need to wait in 2 lines - a check in line and a second photography line. The reviews from all the shoots so far have been overwhelmingly positive!
We are very pleased to be able to keep our prices the same this year in a tough economy and provide a smoother, faster, hassle free photography process.
Of course, we understand that a few people may need to order with a traditional paper envelope, which is why we have provided all our schools with a small batch to have on hand in the office.
We are excited to bring the new process to your school this year! Let us know if you have any questions. Sincerely,
The Network Photography Team

MEET & GREET THE TEACHERS(S)/SCHOOL SUPPLY DROP OFF - August 30, 3:30-5:30
Families unable to attend the Aug. 30 Meet & Greet event are welcome to drop off school supplies in the main office on Aug. 31 during pictures from 1:00-3:00 or bring them the first day of school. The building will not be accessible for visiting rooms on Aug. 31 as staff are in meetings and trainings on this day and preparing for the first day of school. Staff are not available for individual meet and greet prior to Sept. 5.
SCHOOL LUNCH UPDATES/REMINDERS
The district's free and reduced application that applies to lunch and school fees can be found here on the parent portal > More > Meal Benefits.
Here is a link to print out and submit a copy:

https://www.neenah.k12.wi.us/cms_files/resources/permission%20to%20share%202022-23.pdf
Someone from Chartwell's Food Service may be in the cafeteria on the afternoon/evening of the Meet & Greet on Aug. 30, 3:30-5:30 to deposit money into student accounts.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL REMINDERS
Grades 1-4 - All students begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5
Grade K - Students with last names, A-K attend on Sept. 5, students with last names, L-Z attend on Sept. 6. All KG students attend beginning Sept. 7.
2. For the first two days of school (Sept. 1 & 2 ONLY), upon arrival all students should plan to meet in the back of school on the blacktop. There will be orange cones labeled with classroom teacher names which students will line up at and then be escorted into the building at 8:05 by their teacher to the classroom. This helps for students who may not be able to attend Meet & Greet to easily identify and find their classroom teacher as well as learn where recess lines and locations of classrooms are with adult support.
3. Due to the start of the school year being special, morning traffic/drop off and street parking can be more congested than other times of the year, so please be patient and cautious when dropping students off using the front lot or parking vehicles on Olde School Road.
4. When dropping off in the front lot, please practice with your children to be sure they are prepared to exit the vehicle promptly and safely - no vehicles should block the handicap stalls while students exit the vehicle nor any vehicle sit idling for an extended amount of time.
5. There may be different emotions and anxieties experienced the first days/weeks of school by students (and parents). This is normal and the Lakeview Staff reassures you that if there is any reason for concern or need to contact you about your child(ren).
CLASSROOM BIRTHDAY AND CELEBRATION REMINDERS
*The school office and staff are not able to share others' personal information (phone, email, address), so please consider alternative ways to invite classmates to non-school celebrations or get their contact information. Having your child share "your" contact information for other families to get in touch with you has worked best to set up playdates or invite others to celebrations.
SCHOOL ATTENDANCE FOR STUDENTS
*No matter the reason for a student absence - teachers are not expected to provide virtual learning activities for absent students, but may provide and suggest some independent learning activities for an extended absence related to illness.
LOOKING FOR 2023-2024 FLOATING SUB COVERAGE & SUBSTITUTES
If you are interested in subbing for building assistants (non-teacher certified), please apply to the district's non-certified substitute opening on the WECAN job website.
ALSO WANTED **If you are interested in daily or a few days a week supervision of students between 11:00-1:00 for recess and lunch - please email the principal, Mary Renning.
