  • September 14: Symmes Ambassadors Help Night, 6:30 pm

School Hours

  • 9:30 am - 4:00 pm: Full Day Kindergarten & Grades 1-4
  • 9:30 am - 12:25 pm: Morning Kindergarten
  • 1:05 pm - 4:00 pm: Afternoon Kindergarten



  • 9:15 am - 9:27 pm: Drop off time for car riders
  • 4:00 pm: Pick up time for car riders (see below for additional details)

Symmes Elementary- Parent Drop Off Procedures


  • Car drop-off is open from 9:15 am - 9:27 am.

  • Please pull into the new driveway. This is the driveway FURTHEST from the Symmes Township Library. Follow the drive to the area along the front of the building.

  • A staff member will be standing near the front door and will motion for you to stop at the correct spot.

  • Parents should park and turn off their cars.

  • Parents must stay in their cars.

  • Students should exit only from the passenger side door and should open their own door.

  • Symmes staff will direct students on where to enter the building.

  • Stay parked until a staff member waves to you that it is safe to leave.

  • If you arrive AFTER 9:27 am, you must park and walk your child to the office door.


***For students who need assistance unloading, parents should park and walk their child to the sidewalk.

Symmes Elementary- Parent Pick Up Procedures


  • Car pick-up is open beginning at 4:00 pm.

  • Please be sure to have your assigned number hanging from your rear-view mirror.

  • Please pull into the new driveway. This is the driveway FURTHEST from the Symmes Township Library. Follow the drive to the area along the front of the building.

  • A staff member will be standing near the front door and will motion for you to stop at the correct spot.

  • Parents should park and turn off their cars.

  • Parents must stay in their cars.

  • Stay in that spot until the adult waves to you that it is safe to leave.


***For students who need assistance loading, parents should park and call the front office unless other arrangements have been made with Symmes Staff.

Symmes Sports After School Class


Dear Families-

We are excited to announce a partnership with high school students from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA).


Symmes students in grades 1-4 may participate in an afterschool program designed to teach students about different sports and team play. Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors at Symmes Elementary.


When:

Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 pm


Dates:

September 16, 23, 30

October 7 & 14

November 4, 11, 18

December 2


Space is limited to the first 20 participants. Parents will be notified of acceptance by September 10th. Additional sessions will be offered in January.


To express interest please complete this goggle form. By completing this form you are giving permission for your child to participate in Symmes Sports after school classes AND agreeing to pick up your child from Symmes at 5:00 pm on the dates shown above. The form must be completed by September 8.

A Note from the Nurse

Remember that our nurse needs to have immunization records, physician's report and dental records for NEW students in any grade including kindergarten. Please make sure you have submitted the most current forms. Click here to access the required forms on our website.


If your child will takes medication at school, please drop it off on the first day of school outside of arrival and dismissal hours. Students cannot transport their own medication. Parents should come to the front door and notify the front office. All medication, even over the counter, should be accompanied by a medication order from your child's doctor.

School Fees


Parents, don't forget to pay your child's academic fees for the 2021-2022 school year (and any outstanding balances, if applicable). You pay the academic fee through Parent Portal on our website.

Final Forms Reminder

Every student must have competed Final Forms before the start of school. Please login to Final Forms and check that all of your child's forms are complete. You will know you are complete if the list of pages requiring your signature are all green.
