Message from Principal Hernandez

Thank you to all the parents for your motivation and dedication to supporting your child at home with Distance Learning. We are here to support you and your students during this time away from campus. Please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher or me via email at jhernandez@tvusd.us if you have any questions or concerns.

Kudos to all of you for becoming teachers overnight! We appreciate all you are doing to support your child during distance learning while managing all of your other responsibilities at home. Thank you for supporting the expectation of participation in Daily Distance Learning Opportunities. It is very important that students continue to practice and maintain their skills as teachers continue to provide instruction and assignments for topics that occur this time of year. Distance Learning is important..

If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Hernandez via email at jhernandez@tvusd.us

Healthy Heart Challenge

On behalf of the American Heart Association, thank you very much! Rancho Elementary raised $3,083.45 from our school's recent Kids Heart Challenge (KHC) event. Your efforts make a tremendous impact and help millions of Americans through increased awareness of cardiovascular disease, lifesaving scientific research and critically needed education efforts. This year Rancho Elementary raised money for the American Heart Association to honor and celebrate our very own Roadrunner who is living with a Heart condition.

“We know students are eager to receive their thank you gifts for the Kids Heart Challenge. Unfortunately, The American Heart Association is unable to ship anything out at this time due to COVID-19. We are keeping the orders on hold and will hopefully be able to send the items as soon as soon as our Shelter in Place order is lifted and it is safe to do so. We appreciate your understanding as we work through this unique situation. Our heartfelt thanks to you and your families for the supporting our lifesaving mission.”

-The American Heart Association
