Haiti is in Carribean. There are 10,461,409 people in Haiti as in 2014. Haiti is a very poor country, 78% of Haitians live on less than 1$ a day. Portable drinking water is available, but about 70% of the population doesn't have access to it and they have to go to garbage filled rivers to supply their household with water for their daily needs. Over 50% of Haitians die because of the diseases like Typhoid, Cholera, and Chronic Diarrhea. public systems are rarely available year round because Haiti is a very poor country and probably can not afford or have the time/people to run it.
