New York State Test Score Reports (2022-2023)
Families - Please Check Your Child's Bag
All students in grades 4-8 who took the New York State Test last spring will be coming home with their score reports provided by NYSED. We encourage you to review these test results, but also be mindful that other sources of information help show a broader picture of your child’s abilities. If you need support interpreting your child’s score report, please contact Anne Wechsler.
Wear Orange to Celebrate Unity Day 2023!
Wednesday, October 18th
Unity Day is a nationally recognized day to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Everyone is asked to wear ORANGE on Wednesday, 10/18. Party it up and let’s have fun with it! See how many orange bits and pieces we can wear to strut our stuff in unity!
The goal of Unity Day is to bring together young people, families, educators, and community members across the nation to emphasize the message that bullying is not acceptable, and that all students deserve to be safe in school, online, and in the community.
Why the color ORANGE? Unity Day is celebrated in October, and orange is a color commonly identified with the month and the autumn season. It is also a color that is associated with safety and visibility. It is a color described as warm and inviting, and its vibrancy makes an impactful statement.

Important Message About Safety While Participating in P.E.

This will ensure that we are practicing safety while running and jumping in the gymnasium. Students are advised to bring in a change of sneakers prior to the beginning of class on their scheduled PE days.
Thank you all for your support as we strive to be the best athletes that we can be.
If you have any questions about this, please contact me at twelch@elmwoodvillageschool.org
