Consider donating your items to the upcoming

Multi-Family O.C.E.A.N Yard Sale!

The parent group, ORCA, is hosting a yard sale fundraiser for O.C.E.A.N. School on Sat. April 30th (*rain date Sun, May 1). All proceeds support opportunities for O.C.E.A.N. students - field trips, music, arts and community events.

Here are the details:

  • Yard Sale is Saturday, April 30 from 9 am - 3 pm (*Rain date Sun. May 1)
  • Donation drop off 12 noon - 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29
  • Drop off location and Yard Sale @ 1801 Lawrence St.
  • All items that don't sell will be donated to Goodwill or the Free Store
  • If you have any questions about drop off, call or text Catherine at 360-531-3252

We have a few volunteer needs, if you are available to help out. Contact ptorcaboard@gmail.com.

Volunteer roles include:

  • Signage: making signage, hanging around town, either the night before or early morning of the sale
  • Sorting: Fri. April 29th sorting of items and ensuring everything is priced
  • Working the sale: working the sale itself (morning or afternoon shifts)
  • End of day haul off: people with trucks or vans who can help haul items away that did not sell at the end of the day

Volunteers for Senior Project Presentations

Can you help us out on Tuesday, May 24th from 5-7 PM to view and score Senior Project Presentations?

We need a total of 12 community members to help us score Senior Project Presentations. Each OCEAN classroom will have 3 community members plus one teacher watching and scoring 4-5 presentations. The presentations will be 10-15 minutes long. We provide a rubric. We will train you prior to start time. Come at 5 for a brief orientation. Presentations begin at 5:30 PM. Thank you!

Class and testing schedules vary by grade for the next two weeks.
