Dear Catawba Ridge Families,
Our Senior Celebration was this afternoon and it was a beautiful day in the courtyard. Thank you, StuCo & Staff for this special event. Can't believe that many of our seniors will walk these halls one last time on Wednesday.
Senior breakfast is this Wednesday morning at 8:10 AM. Bojangles biscuits and more.
We introduced our new Band Director to students this week. Please welcome Mr. Patrick Butler to the Catawba Ridge Team!
Lots of events on campus this weekend: Softball playoff game tonight, Bright Start musical, Copperhead Cornhole Challenge and the Band Blood Drive & Food Truck.
AP Tests continue next week.
Spring Sports: Ladies Soccer competed at State last Saturday and finished 2nd! Very proud of this team. Baseball finished their season this week. It was a solid season, and we are proud of their efforts this year on and off the field. Men's Golf competed in Hilton Head this past weekend and came in 9th - WTG!. Track competes at State this afternoon in Columbia. Our Copperhead Softball team plays in their 3rd playoff game TONIGHT @6PM in The Swamp. Come out and support this awesome team! Tickets are through GoFan.com.
Tickets are on sale for the concert version of Bright Star, which opened last night and runs through Sunday. Come support our fine arts students!
The Ridgies Virtual Award Show is 5/27 at 7 PM.
As a reminder: Per Governor McMaster’s Executive Order 2021-23, DHEC has provided the district with an official form allowing parents/guardians, on behalf of their student, to opt-out of wearing face coverings in school buildings and facilities. Effective immediately any student with a completed DHEC form on file will be exempt from wearing face coverings in school buildings and facilities. Under federal law this exemption does not apply to bus transportation and face coverings will continue to be required on all school buses.
